Alpha 0.0.6.3 Update: Killing Doors


Yeah, last update of the year I swear on me mum

So, up until now if a Mandrillian stood right in the middle of a gate while the Robot closed it, there would be some jankiness with the Mandrillian being pushed to one side or another, sometimes even briefly getting stuck in the middle.

Well, guess what happens now if you try to do that. 

Gate crushing mechanics work as follows: if a monkey is caught inside a gate closing down, it will receive a crapton of damage, enough to kill any monkey at full health under 2.1x health multiplier.

If the gate slams onto a monkey with higher health multiplier, it will still apply the damage, but the gate will break (just as they do when a monkey breaks one down). This mean that in Horror mode for example, you'd need 3 gate crushes to kill a full HP monkey.

You might think camping next to a door for a free kill might be a valid strat, but the timing is extremely tight and your trap will probably be pretty obvious. Ask me how I know.

Besides the gate crushing mechanic, this update also has a fix for a gun ammo counter oversight (it didn't update when manually racking the slide to eject rounds)
